Hype-Wipes® are single-use pouches that contain one towelette saturated with pre-mixed, ready-to-use bleach at a 1:10 concentration (at least .550% bleach) at expiration.
Meets recommendations by the NCCLS, OSHA, CDC for disinfection against bacteria, viruses, spores. Specific germ kill times are listed in the matrix below.

Size:
Hype-Wipe® foil pouch size is 3” X 5”; inside is a folded 6” X 12” towel saturated with enough pre-diluted 1:10 bleach solution to disinfect a 40 square foot area. Mini Hype-Wipe® contains a 3” X 3” towel. These individual pouches are portable and convenient to carry in pockets and on trays. Clear acrylic holders are available for organizing Hype-Wipes® on counters.
Shelf Life:
The bleach solution in each Hype-Wipe® is stabilized for an 18-month shelf life (from manufacture date) with expiration date embossed on each pouch; the outer box label also contains the expiration date for ease of management / inspection.
Regulatory:
Hype-Wipe® bleach towelettes are registered disinfectants and are on EPA List-N, Disinfectants for Coronavirus (COVID-19). Registered as a hospital cleaner / disinfectant with the U.S. EPA, California DPR, Massachusetts and other states with approved germicidal kill claims for C. Difficile Spores, TB, hepatitis -B and -C viruses, MRSA, and numerous bacteria and viruses (see matrix above).
Surface Compatibility:
For use on hard, non-porous surfaces including plastics, Plexiglas®, glass, glazed ceramic tile, linoleum, baked enamel. Can be used on stainless steel, but follow equipment manufacturers’ directions; some directions may specify that the surface be rinsed after disinfection.
Odor:
Has a minimal bleach scent. Many customers state that they prefer our bleach products as the scent is less pungent compared to other products or bleach mixed in-house.

Clinical and Reference labs:
Use Hype-Wipes® to clean / disinfect counters, sinks, and on numerous instruments and analyzers, centrifuges, cryostats (in accordance with their manufacturers’ specifications).
Research, Biotech and Pharma labs:
Use Hype-Wipes® for disinfection of instruments used in molecular analysis, gene sequencing, and to clean / disinfect centrifuges, cryostats, freezers, counters, sinks (in accordance with their manufacturers' specifications).
General hospital and physician office:
Areas for use include ER, OR, ICU, radiology, nursing stations, patient rooms, clinics, dialysis and outpatient. Often used to disinfect counters, sinks, blood glucose monitors, outer sides of equipment, IV poles, bed railings, probes, blood pressure cuffs, mammography equipment, carts, wheelchairs, gurneys, EMS backboards, point of care instruments (in accordance with their manufacturers' specifications).
Veterinary:
Uses include disinfection of animal equipment, cages, treatment areas, counters, sinks (in accordance with their manufacturers' specifications).

Simplify Inspections:
If labs / hospitals mix bleach in-house it must be mixed daily since the bleach loses potency in 24 hours; managers have to monitor the dates mixed and make the data available for inspections. With Hype-Wipes®, inspections are smoother and manager oversight is not required as Hype-Wipes® contain stabilized bleach with an 18-month shelf life and expiration date on each pouch.
Save Staff Time and Lower Risk:
With Hype-Wipes®, valuable lab employees don’t spend time mixing bleach and instead focus on critical tasks. The lab benefits because risk is reduced and safety improved. Why? If lab staff forgets to mix concentrated bleach daily, or if the concentrated bleach is not strong enough so that the 1:10 dilution is weaker than 0.525%, lab staff using those bottles do not achieve disinfection throughout the lab. Since Hype-Wipes® are pre-diluted at the 1:10 concentration, they achieve disinfection when used according to the label directions.
Cost-Effective:
Since Hype-Wipes® are individually packaged, the towel does not dry out. Only one Hype-Wipe® is needed vs. wipes in pop-up canisters which can dry out if the lid is left open. Also, with canisters the user can pull out several wipes before the towels pull apart at the perforation; with Hype-Wipes® only one towelette is used and no time is wasted opening canisters and threading towels through the opening. Wipes from canisters may not contain enough solution to remain wet for the entire contact time required for disinfection; thus, multiple wipes may be required to achieve disinfection.

Efficacy Against C. Difficile Spores:
Hype-Wipes® killed C. Difficile Spores in four minutes in the presence of a 3-part organic soil load in testing at an independent lab. This newer testing method (in the presence of 3-part organic soil load) required Hype-Wipes® to produce a 6-log reduction of C. Difficile Spores in the presence of 3 different protein components (serum, mucin and yeast extract). To clean / disinfect against C. Difficile Spores, the pre-cleaning is required for all disinfectants.
Wetness:
Tests at an independent lab confirmed that after a surface is wiped with one Hype-Wipe®, that surface remains wet for at least four minutes. Thus, one Hype-Wipe® provides sufficient bleach solution to kill C. Difficile Spores and other germs listed in the matrix above. Gravimetric weight and visual wetness tests were performed at an independent lab.
Toxicity:
Independent lab tests for reaction to Hype-Wipes® (e.g. if the bleach solution was ingested orally, on skin, in eyes, inhaled) showed minimal impact, meeting the criteria of Toxicity Category IV by all routes of exposure and is not required to bear a signal word.
Precautions:
Physical and Chemical Hazards: Do not use this product with ammonia, acids (such as vinegar), rust removers, toilet bowl cleaners, or heavy metals such as copper and iron. Will corrode aluminum.
No Further Irradiation / Processing:
The efficacy of Hype-Wipes® may be adversely affected by any further processing, including irradiation / sterilization. Current Technologies is not responsible for product efficacy / expiration / kill claims if the product is altered by irradiation / sterilization and / or any further processing.
